We are focusing on breeding pure FPS/FHANA/ANZFHS registered Friesian horses. We have classical, baroque and modern style mares. Our mission is to breed top quality Friesians that hold up to the high standards of this wonderful breed. The Dutch are known for their high standards of testing and record keeping and the result is the phenomenal Friesian horse that we have all grown to love so much. Movie and Parade Horses
Friesians are very easy on the eye and romantic in all their movements. They are cast in many films such as The Mask of Zorro, Alexander, Eragon, Prince of Persia, Sands of Time, and many more
At Sable Ranch we are lucky to have very talented mares That will be available to casting crews. Tooloolaa is trick trained to rear in hand and under saddle. Grace is stunning and has Stallion like hair. Viduna and Glory have 4+ ft of mane and are very stunning in motion. They have also been in parades and love to dress up and put on a show.
Main farm is located in Seaspay Victoria Australia, along the beautiful 90 Mile Beach. The 2nd farm is located in a beautiful valley along the Sangre De Cristo mountain range in Westcliffe Colorado USA

100% KFPS Main foalbook/studbook registered.
When buying a Friesian you should know that there are different registration books within the KFPS (Dutch founding registry for Friesian horses) that indicate if their parenting sires have been tested and approved for breeding within the KFPS. We are happy to help explain the registration books to you or you can click here to view online. You should be fully informed when buying a Friesian and we are happy to help with questions you have about Friesians, including looking up information on any you are looking at so that you know if you are buying a pure Friesian and what book they are registered in.
